Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how The Craft Leather dispatches B2B orders from Agra, handles domestic and international shipments, and allocates delivery responsibilities.

1. General Information

All orders placed on www.thecraftleather.com are shipped directly from our warehouse in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, to the shipping address provided at the time of purchase.

Order processing and dispatch timelines may vary depending on the order size, quantity, and product availability. Customers will be informed of the estimated dispatch and delivery time for each order.

2. Domestic & International Shipping

We currently ship to multiple destinations within India and abroad. Our international shipping coverage is expanding and will be updated periodically on our website.

For international (export) customers, shipping and delivery details - including courier partners, estimated timelines, and applicable export documentation - will be shared for each order before dispatch.

3. Shipping Address & Delivery Attempts

Each order can be shipped to only one delivery address. If you wish to send products to multiple addresses, please place separate orders.

We cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses, and we are not responsible for any non-delivery resulting from incomplete or incorrect address details.

Courier companies generally attempt delivery twice at the address provided. If the package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us, and we will contact you to arrange further delivery or reshipment. You can track your order using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email or on our website.

4. Mode of Shipment

All goods are shipped by air, as per our standard export policy. Delivery can be made either to the nearest airport or directly to your specified address, based on the terms mutually agreed upon at the time of order confirmation.

Our logistics partners are selected to ensure safe and timely delivery; however, transit times may vary due to customs clearance or local regulations in the destination country.

5. Risk & Title Transfer

All shipments are made on an FOB (Free on Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) basis, as agreed in writing. The risk and title to the goods pass to the buyer once the shipment is handed over to the carrier or as otherwise stated in the contract.

6. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to deliver products safely and promptly, V.K. ARTS & CRAFTS (owner of www.thecraftleather.com) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from delay, non-delivery, or mishandling by courier companies, customs authorities, or third-party logistics providers.

Our liability, in any case, shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased.

7. Indemnity

By placing an order, the buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless V.K. ARTS & CRAFTS, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of the misuse of the products, shipping delays, or violation of any applicable import/export regulations.

8. Arbitration & Governing Law

This Shipping Policy and all related transactions are governed by the laws of India applicable to export transactions.

In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of shipping, logistics, or delivery, the same shall be resolved through arbitration in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The language of arbitration shall be English, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.
